Important: New way to request appointments
To improve access and ensure the right care for you, we are introducing a new triage system.
How does it work?
- ALL GP appointments, whether they are Urgent or Routine, must be requested via our form which is open 8.00am to 6.30pm Monday – Friday.
- Instead of calling in the morning, simply complete our online form - link below.
- Our GPs will review your request and send you a text with the next steps - this may be an appointment, a pharmacy referral, or self-care advice.
- If you are having issues completing the form, please call or pop in as the reception team are happy to complete the form with you.
- All Nurse and HCA appointments are still able to be booked via the telephone if needed.
- Complete the online form
If you have made an appointment to see a doctor, but are unable to attend, or no longer require a doctor please inform the surgery.
We need unwanted appointments to give to other patients who are ill and need to see a doctor urgently.
Chaperones
If you would like another member of staff (chaperone) to be present during your consultation, examination or procedure please ask the doctor, nurse or a receptionist.
For certain examinations or procedures the Clinician may automatically arrange for a chaperone to be present. This may mean that sometimes the consultation will take a longer time.
Enhanced Access Appointments
The Enhanced Access scheme means that patients can make an appointment to see clinicians such as GPs, ANPs, PNs, HCAs and Clinical Pharmacists.
Appointments are available Monday to Friday from 6.30pm to 8.45pm, and 9.00am to 5.00pm on a Saturday.
Appointments can be either face to face or remote consultations.
More information here.
Home Visits
Home visits are available for anyone who is too ill or too frail to come to the surgery.
Please do not request a Home Visit if you are able to come to the surgery.
Requests for Home visits should be made to the surgery by 10.30am to ensure same day visit.
Please be patient because the doctor will call.
Cancelling or changing an appointment
If you can not make your appointment let us know as soon as you can so another patient can book the appointment time. You can cancel or change your appointment:
